About Megan

Over 6 years of tutoring experience throughout full time education at international and national tutoring companies/schools. I give highly detailed, individually tailored sessions that get students to engage with the subject in their own way. Something that teachers are often unable to create in the classroom.

The one-to-one environment is beneficial. I can create a good rapport with my students. I use a variety of teaching approaches with games/videos as well as 'paper' approaches. I hope to enable students to develop a ‘toolbox’ of study skills by going back to basics on how to read and write in an effective way in. This toolbox, along with a personal engagement in the work, will hopefully leave students with a genuine passion for the subject as well as confidence to enter those all-important exams.

I have recently had experience in teaching English as a foreign language and am also available for international students aiming to learn the language. I have learnt the importance of changing my communication and teaching approach for international students and, due to my knowledge of other languages I am able to teach students in a way they can understand.
