About Luciana
Hello! I'm Luciana, a passionate and patient English tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence and succeed academically. As a high school graduate with a 4.0 GPA and over three years of childcare and tutoring experience, I believe every child has the ability to thrive when they're taught in a way that works best for them.
One of the most important parts of my teaching is getting to know each student. I take the time to learn their personality, interests, strengths, and areas where they need extra support. Every child learns differently, so I personalize each lesson to match their unique learning style instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.
My goal is to create a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing with confidence. Whether your child needs help strengthening reading and writing skills, preparing for a test, or simply gaining more confidence in English, I'm committed to helping them reach their full potential while making learning enjoyable.

I offer personalized English tutoring for Pre-K, kindergarten, elementary school, and students through sixth grade, with support for select middle school English subjects based on each student's individual needs. My lessons focus on reading, writing, spelling, grammar, language arts, vocabulary, and English test preparation while helping students build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Every lesson is tailored to each student's learning style, pace, strengths, and goals. I begin by reviewing previous material, introduce new concepts through engaging and interactive activities, provide guided practice, and finish with independent work and encouraging feedback. I create a positive, patient, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
With over three years of childcare and tutoring experience working with students from Pre-K through sixth grade and a 4.0 GPA as a high school graduate, I understand the importance of building strong academic foundations. My goal is not only to improve grades and test scores but also to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy reading, writing, and expressing themselves. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to stay ahead in class, or is preparing for an upcoming English exam, I will create personalized lessons designed to help them succeed.
