About Fahima

Hello! My name is Fahima, and I am a friendly and patient Mathematics tutor for students in Grades 1–10. With a strong academic background in science, clinical research, mathematics, and statistics, I understand the importance of clear explanations, logical thinking, and regular practice.

I believe every student can improve in Mathematics with the right guidance and encouragement. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I explain each topic step by step, adapt lessons to the student’s learning needs, and provide plenty of guided practice.

Whether your child needs help with homework, test preparation, difficult concepts, or building stronger foundational skills, I am committed to helping them become more confident and independent in Mathematics. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, understandable, and rewarding.

About the lesson

I teach Mathematics to students from Grades 1 to 10, adapting each lesson to the student’s age, ability, and learning style. My approach is patient, supportive, and interactive. I explain mathematical concepts in simple steps, use practical examples, and encourage students to ask questions without hesitation.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by a clear explanation of the new concept. We then solve examples together before the student completes practice questions independently. I finish the lesson by reviewing key points, correcting mistakes, and providing additional practice when needed.

What sets me apart is my ability to make difficult topics easier to understand. I focus on building strong foundational skills, improving problem-solving abilities, and increasing each student’s confidence. I create a comfortable learning environment where students can learn from their mistakes and progress at their own pace.

My lessons are suitable for students in Grades 1–10, including those who need help with homework, test preparation, foundational skills, or advanced practice. I can support students with arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, geometry, measurement, word problems, and other grade-level mathematics topics.
