About Michaela
Science graduate and passionate math and biology teacher. I am approachable, patient and diligent. My goal as a teacher is to improve scientific and mathematical literacy in South Africa. I challenge learners to think laterally by finding practical ways to use math in their daily life.

Per hour session is structured as follows: (Note: lesson structures will differ based on student needs).
-Introduction to new topic/pop quiz on work covered before (10-15 min). If there is a group session, Kahoot would be used as in introduction activity.
- 30 min for worked examples, guided activities or informal assessments.
- Last 15 minutes used to workshop problem areas and assign independent work for the next session.
