About Purvi

I am a professionally trained dancer and instructor specializing in Kathak, Bollywood, and Wedding Sangeet choreography, with over 8 years of teaching experience. My training approach is structured, method-driven, and technique-focused, designed to develop strong fundamentals, refined musicality, and expressive performance. Grounded in the richness of classical Kathak and enhanced by a contemporary, stage-ready aesthetic, my classes offer personalized mentorship in a disciplined yet nurturing environment. I place equal emphasis on precision, grace, expression, and confidence, guiding students to grow into well-rounded, performance-ready dancers.

About the lesson

As a dancer and teacher, my approach focuses on strong fundamentals, clarity of technique, and expressive performance. I follow a structured, diploma-style method that blends classical Kathak training with Bollywood and Sangeet choreography, ensuring students learn with both discipline and creativity.

Each class includes warm-up and conditioning, technique practice, choreography, and expression work, along with personalised feedback for steady progress. I emphasise rhythm, posture, grace, and stage confidence, helping students understand movement rather than simply copy steps.
What sets me apart is my personalised attention, balance of classical depth and modern presentation, and a calm, encouraging learning environment.

My classes are suitable for school children, college students, adults, and wedding performers, from beginners to advanced levels, with online and offline options available.
