About Kristen
I am a passionate piano tutor with 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages, including school beginners, college learners, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy is to create a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel confident to explore music, develop technical skills, and express themselves creatively.
Over the years, I have helped students perform in recitals, complete graded exams, and participate in competitions, earning recognition for their dedication and talent. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive performance, all tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning style.
I combine structured practice with creative exercises to ensure that learning piano is both effective and enjoyable while fostering discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
