About Arthur

I have over a decade of experience tutoring maths and physics. My tutoring has helped many students, floundering with course material, to gain confidence and clarity that ultimately led them to excelling in their examinations.

Qualifications > PhD in Mathematics of Systems (University of Warwick). > MSc in Mathematics of Systems (University of Warwick) > MSci in Physics with Astrophysics (University of Bristol) Award winning: Prize for Best Astrophysics Project.

About the lesson

- I provide many engaging and relevant examples to help students learn and understand abstract mathematical concepts. - My tutoring style is tailored to each student's individual needs. - By posing thought-provoking questions I stimulate my students' interest and ability to think analytically. - I build positive working relationships with my students. Tutoring Approach - My experience in teaching and mathematics allows me to equip my students with the tools required to obtain correct answers to new and complex problems. - I introduce my students early on to example examination questions to give them experience and confidence by the time they reach their exams.

Arthur’s incredible knowledge, and across exam board/combined vs triple syllabuses, means he can support at the perfect level, breaking down or enhancing topic knowledge on request. He’s really boosted my son’s confidence and subject understanding in physics.
