About Megan

My journey with Excel began when I started working with data and realized how powerful spreadsheets can be for organizing and analyzing information. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s in Data Analytics, where I developed strong technical and analytical skills. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students learn Excel in a clear and practical way.

My teaching style focuses on simplicity, patience, and structured learning. I break down complex tasks into small steps so students can understand easily. I use real-life examples and hands-on exercises to make lessons engaging and effective. I also encourage students to practice regularly and explore different features confidently.

Outside teaching, I continue to explore new Excel tools and techniques. This helps me keep my lessons updated and useful. Teaching Excel is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and ability. My goal is to help every learner feel comfortable and skilled in using spreadsheets.

About the lesson

My Excel lessons are designed to make working with data simple, structured, and easy to understand. I begin with basic topics such as data entry, formatting, and simple formulas, explaining each concept step by step. I use real-life examples like budgeting, tracking expenses, and organizing records to make learning practical and meaningful. This approach helps students understand how Excel is used in everyday tasks. I create a calm and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

As students grow more confident, I introduce advanced features such as pivot tables, charts, data validation, and lookup functions. I guide them through structured exercises that help them analyze and manage data effectively. Practice tasks are included in every lesson to improve accuracy and confidence. I also focus on explaining mistakes clearly so students can learn and improve without frustration.

Each lesson is designed to build strong practical skills step by step. Excel helps students become more organized and confident when working with data. Many learners begin to enjoy spreadsheets once they see real results. My goal is to help students develop strong Excel skills that they can apply in studies, work, and daily life.
