About Marianne

My interest in Excel began with curiosity about how data can be organized and analyzed to support better decision making in real life situations. This interest led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Business Analytics, where I developed strong skills in data handling, reporting, and spreadsheet tools. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students and professionals from different backgrounds, helping them build confidence and efficiency in using Excel. Teaching has become a very meaningful and fulfilling part of my professional journey.

My teaching style is structured, simple, and highly practical. I break down each concept into small, clear steps so students can understand easily without confusion. I use real world examples, guided exercises, and hands on practice to make learning effective and engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions, practice consistently, and build confidence gradually so they can improve steadily without feeling overwhelmed.

Beyond teaching, I continuously explore new Excel features, tools, and data analysis techniques to stay updated with industry trends. This allows me to bring relevant and practical insights into my lessons. I believe Excel is not just a tool but a powerful skill that can improve productivity and decision making in many fields. My goal is to help students become confident and independent users who can manage data efficiently, create professional reports, and solve real world problems effectively while developing strong long term skills and confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

My Excel lessons are designed to make learning practical, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with basic topics such as data entry, formatting, and simple formulas, explaining each concept in very simple and clear English. I focus on helping students understand how Excel works instead of memorizing functions. I use real life examples such as budgeting, record keeping, and report creation so students can clearly connect Excel with everyday tasks. I also create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and practicing regularly without hesitation.

As students gain confidence, I introduce more advanced topics such as logical formulas, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data analysis tools. I guide students step by step through working with real datasets so they can understand how to organize, analyze, and present data effectively. Practice exercises are included in every lesson to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency. I also help students identify mistakes and correct them through clear explanation and guided practice. Each lesson is carefully structured to ensure steady improvement and strong practical understanding over time.

Excel becomes a powerful and essential tool when students learn how to use it independently to manage data and solve real world problems efficiently. I focus on helping learners develop logical thinking so they can approach tasks with confidence and clarity. Over time, students become more comfortable handling complex spreadsheets, automating tasks, and creating meaningful reports. My goal is to help students build strong Excel skills, improve productivity, and apply their knowledge effectively in academic, professional, and real life situations while developing independence, confidence, and long term proficiency in using data tools.
