Josefien brings her classical training to my voice lessons with enthusiasm and joy. Singing with her, I've learned about my vocal range and how to get the most from my voice. Other groups I sing with have noticed the difference since I've been working with her. She is a patient and sensitive teacher who has helped me immensely. P.S. I'm someone who just loves to sing ~ but prior to the lessons with Josefien, I had not had any real vocal training. These sessions have opened up a whole new set of singing experiences for me, and I'm grateful for her thoughtful guidance.

When I decided to abandon a career in vocal performance 10 years ago, I honestly didn't expect to find myself in voice lessons ever again. I've gotten enough distance from that difficult decision and realized I miss singing.

She is very nice and kind. When I am always confused about something she tries her best to explain it to me. I have had her for 2 years and she has taught me a lot of awesome singing techniques to help me grow my voice. I definitely recommend her whether you do online or in person because she is great either way. One more thing is she always makes me feel better when you feel like you’re not confident in yourself. I am very thankful that she has continued lessons with me and am so happy she is my teacher.

Josefien is a true professional who performs at an elite level in her own right. She also has the ability to teach core breathing and concert techniques. And she makes it fun! I began taking voice lessons with Josefien 2x a week just as the COVID19 distancing requirements came into effect. That didn’t stop us. We FaceTime and it works brilliantly. Our FaceTime lessons are one of the highlights of my week. I highly recommend Josefien.
