About Natalie
I have worked with students from America, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Italy and France. My specialty lies in conversational English. I worked with University students for 2 years and K-12 students for 5 years. I also worked with adults who wanted to improve their English to use in their careers. I love what I do and always make learning fun and engaging by bringing up my students topics of interest. I am here to help you be the best version of yourself and to give you the confidence you need to speak English with native and non-native speakers in social or professional settings.

I make lessons fun and engaging by focusing on conversational skills for ESL students at any level. Back in the day, ESL teachers would focus on grammar first. Studies have shown that this technique makes it more difficult for students to gain fluency in spoken English. By focusing on conversational skills, students can feel confident actually speaking English and using the skills they learn with me in the real world with native and non-native speakers. I adjust the grammar as we go, but my main focus will always be for my students to feel comfortable actually using the English language.
