About Asha

Hello, world. Do you need to prepare for the IELTS, TOEFL, ICAO, or other English proficiency tests? Do you want to practice interviews for work or school admission (I used to work in HR and school admissions)? Do you want to improve your pronunciation (American English or British English), conversation, listening, Business English, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and/or writing skills? I can help you improve. Let's do it!

About the lesson

I was born and raised in California and have been teaching for 15 years. I have given lessons to beginning through advanced students of all ages. My lessons are structured to my individual students' needs. They can be conversation only, interview only, grammar and conversation, test preparation, etc.

Sheryl has a good head on her shoulders and I believe she will go far in life. Her English was already very good when I met her she just needs to work on pronunciation, intonation and advanced vocabulary. Keep it up!

Perfect! I came to the USA from Ukraine one month ago and after my arrival I immediately understood that my level of speaking and writing is not enough to feel confident in a new country. So I decided to find a way to improve it.
I’m very lucky that I have found Lisa as my ESL tutor! She is an amazing teacher, with many years of experience. She has an excellent method of teaching English language and individual approach to students. Lisa makes you feel secure, welcomed and encourages you to learn. We practice conversational English that significantly helps me to speak confidently outside the classes. Also I like that Lisa can always provide professional and accurate answers to all of my questions (by the way I have a lot). After each lesson I receive a list of mistakes I’ve made during the class with recommendations and home work.
Especially I’m grateful to my tutor for making a complicated grammar easy to understand and helping me to work harder on my pronunciation. I would recommend Lisa as an English tutor without any hesitation!
