About Jamie
I'm passionate about environmental science and enjoy helping others understand the subject in a clear and practical way. I am currently completing a PhD in Environmental Science. My goal is to make learning engaging, build confidence, and help students achieve their academic goals, whether they're preparing for exams, completing assignments, or simply looking to deepen their understanding of the environment.

Lessons are delivered online using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet. Every session is tailored to your individual goals and learning style, with a focus on making complex concepts easy to understand through clear explanations, discussion, and practical examples.
A variety of learning resource including presentations, videos, diagrams, scientific articles, and past exam papers are used to reinforce understanding and prepare for assessments. Lessons are interactive, encouraging questions and active participation throughout. Where appropriate, optional revision exercises and independent study tasks are provided to help strengthen your knowledge and build confidence between sessions.
Typical lesson length
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with longer sessions available on request.
Qualifications and experience
I hold a B.Hons in Earth Systems, an MSc in Natural Environment and Resource Management, work as a Senior Manager at ARPA, and am currently undertaking a PhD in Environmental Science.
