About Liam
With a deep passion for music, I have dedicated my career to teaching piano to students of all ages and skill levels. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music, providing a strong foundation in theory and performance. I have experience teaching beginners, intermediates, and advanced students preparing for exams or performances. My lessons are student-centred, focusing on making learning engaging, practical, and personalised. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect rhythm, melody, and harmony to everyday experiences. Motivation is central, and I encourage students to set goals and celebrate every achievement. Problem-solving is integrated into lessons to help students think critically and independently. I maintain integrity, creating a respectful, safe, and supportive environment for learning. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, style, and objectives. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition to provide a well-rounded musical education. I prepare students for exams, performances, and competitions while fostering creativity and discipline. Lessons are available online or in-person for learners of all ages. I focus on helping students develop technical skill, musical expression, and confidence. Each lesson is motivating, enjoyable, and meaningful. My ultimate goal is to nurture skilled, confident, and passionate musicians.
