About Shalani
I am a passionate linguist who has just recently completed the new Spanish GCSE and recieved a high grade 9. As I am the first cohort to have completed the GCSE, I am one of the few tutors with first-hand experience with the new format. This means that I can equip you with the skills you need to secure top marks in the new format and teach you a few tips on how to bypass the rigid mark schemes. I have had student go from 6s to very high 8s. Outside of my tutoring, one of my favourite things to do is learning fascinating linguistic facts which I love sharing with my students to make our lessons memorable and engaging.

I am a Yr11 student who will be studying Spanish A-Level next year. I can help your child tackle difficult topics such as the subjunctive with fun, easy-to-understand, engaging lessons. I have been tutoring Spanish for over a year; however, I am new to Superprof. My previous students have always come back to me extremely happy with their exam results. Many of my students have gone up by 1 to 2 grades from their yr11 mocks. Every student is a very capable linguist; they just have to be taught how to make the linguistic connections and how to navigate GCSE mark schemes. Happy to teach all exam boards but my speciality is in Edexcel and AQA.
