About Sowmya
I am a post graduate from the prestigious Ramanujan Institute for advanced study in mathematics, University of Madras India, having graduated with an MPhil in mathematics. I also have prior experience in teaching at various schools and colleges in India before coming to London. I have been tutoring students in GCSC and A level mathematics at home for the past 10 years in London

First I help the students understand the topic by illustrating a stereotypical problem and its solution. I then help consolidate this knowledge by using questions from the text book and past papers. I like to add an element of fun by having mini "race to the finish" game which also helps in improving the student's speed in solving a problem. Mathematics can often seem like an abstract subject, so wherever possible I like to relate problems back to the practical world
