I am an enthusiastic tutor for English and the Humanities

I studied with Francesca in an English Master's at UCL and am certain she would make an excellent tutor. She is one of the most intelligent and articulate people I know, incredibly generous in sharing ideas and infectiously enthusiastic about the subject of English. She is rigorous in textual analysis and has an innate understanding of how to structure essays, which she has done to great results in her degrees. She is knowledgeable about an admirably wide range of subjects, such as politics, philosophy and ancient Greek, and I learn a great amount just in everyday conversations with her. For my own essays she provided a lot of support, offering many suggestions on structure and critical analysis which helped me to develop my ideas. She possesses a notable passion for arts-based education language, which would of course effectively translate in her teaching, and she has a strong command of both English and Italian. Therefore, I am sure that having Francesca as a tutor would be greatly enriching for any pupil - not only would they improve their academic ability, but in collaborating with Francesca they will quickly build a rapport around the subject of literature and perhaps develop a love of their own for the topic!
