About Elizabeth
Hi! My name is Elizabeth Ivanka Ram, and I am passionate about making learning enjoyable and effective. I successfully completed my IGCSE in 2024 and my Foundation in Science recently. Having gone through the international syllabus myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to make subjects more engaging and interactive. I specialize in teaching English, Mathematics, and Science for Primary Years 1–3 (international syllabus). My teaching style is engaging, fun, and student-centered, designed to ensure children grasp concepts with confidence rather than just memorization alone. As both a recent student and now an aspiring tutor, I can connect with children easily, making them feel comfortable while learning. I aim to inspire confidence, build strong foundations, and nurture a love for learning so that students not only do well academically but also enjoy the process along the way.

My lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I use a mix of guided reading, interactive quizzes, and question-based learning to keep sessions lively and ensure active participation. For Science, I often create mind maps to help students visualize and connect key concepts in a simple and memorable way.
Each lesson typically lasts one hour, with flexibility for parents and students to choose a duration that best suits them. At the end of every topic, I provide a short quiz or test to check understanding, then go through mistakes step by step to ensure full comprehension before moving forward. I also provide regular updates to parents, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and the strategies we’ll use to address them together.
I have completed my IGCSE and Foundation in Science, giving me a strong background to teach English, Mathematics, and Science at the primary level.
My lessons are designed especially for Primary Years 1–3 students (ages 6–9), focusing on building a strong academic foundation while keeping learning fun and interactive.
