About Jeanette
Hi, my name is Jeanette and I'm a native German speaker studying at the University of Durham.
Besides my native language I speak English on a native level, using it every day, and have good skills in Spanish from doing my A-Levels. I love learning languages and spend a lot of my freetime improving my language skills and learning new languages.
I want to use this opportunity to share my passion for languages with you and help you focus on the areas that might seem a bit difficult to you so together we can get to a point where you're 100% comfortable and confident in your language abilities.
I have previous teaching experience from school when I was tutoring younger children who were struggling with English. Additionally, I have looked after very young refugee children in the past, teaching them German whilst also helping them develop their social skills so I am also more than happy to help out with SEN. I can provide both English and German tutoring for GCSEs, A-Levels, and university courses and am also able to tutor you for your Spanish GCSEs and A-levels.

Jeanette was an excellent tutor to me. She always managed to make me believe in myself and my abilities even when I was really struggling with grasping grammar concepts. I really enjoyed the lessons with her, she was very patient and always encouraging. She adapted her approach when I was struggling to understand the ways I had been taught at school and it was overall just really nice working with her. Would definitely recommend her! :)
