About Joe
Hello, my name is Joe and I am a current gap year student. I have recently completed 4 A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Economics, French), achieving all A*s and As, as well as an AS level in German. I am enthusiastic to share my knowledge of mathematics with others in an engaging and interactive way. I have over two years of tutoring experience, in which students have made massive progress. I hope that I can inspire others to succeed in their studies and build confidence for their exams!

Through my 2 years of tutoring maths and languages, I have tried to make my sessions as personalised and engaging as possible, whilst also ensuring to cover everything on the specification. I put great emphasis on retrieval, implementing short quizzes to recap knowledge from previous lessons. I allow my students to ask any questions and I give them a range of activities to make the lesson as interactive and exciting as I can. I have very recent knowledge of the specifications, having completed my GCSEs and A Levels within the last 3 years. My tutoring style has been commended by senior teaching staff and students have shown significant progress and have started to enjoy learning maths! Tasks integrated in lessons include - Short quizzes - Whiteboard use - Q&A sessions - Exam style practice questions
