About Emma

Hi guys! I am currently studying sociology at Postgraduate Level within the University of Aberdeen, but I am very interested in tutoring in French and English, and sharing my culture with people.

Indeed, I am a French native speaker, and I have always specialised in English. Therefore I have a European Baccalaureate recognising my accomplishment in the English Language. Then I went on with a 2-year intensive programme to prepare for the highly selective entrance exams to French Grandes Ecoles, specialising in English once again. There, I focused on English Literature and Civilisation, mastered translation from English to French, and from French to English, and perfected my English writing and listening skills.

I have also worked with children within my cursus at Rennes Political Institute when part of a group project aiming at raising awareness of ocean pollution among primary school classes in an Educational Priority Zone in Colombelles (FRANCE). This project has taught me to tackle various subjects from a pupil's point of view, and has also made me aware of how important it is to transfer knowledge to people and help them become key social actors in our changing societies.

About the lesson

I have always loved helping my friends with their school work throughout my education, that's why you shoudn't feel intimidated to book a lesson with me, as I will conduct it in the most friendly manner I can.
