About Kanav

Hi, I am Kanav a second year student at Manchester University studying computer science with a passion for Mathematics. I have recently completed my A-levels with excellent results. I obtained an A* in Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry, and an A in Economics. Additionally, I achieved a grade 9 in all of my GCSEs. I have experience in teaching students and helping them move from grades C, B to A and A* with my detailed understanding of topic and patient approach. Moreover, I have taken part in numerous tutoring programmes, For instance, I organised and taught GCSE Further Maths to about 30, year 10 students and I also mentored A-level Maths students and GCSE Chemistry students in school providing one-to-one support to students of all abilities who needed help getting the grades they needed. These one-on-one and group tutoring experiences have not only shown me the unique abilities and learning requirements of each student, but also equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching style to meet their specific needs and help them achieve their maximum potential.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is very flexible based upon your needs. I can provide assistance in solidifying and excelling in the fundamentals, as well as support with challenging questions towards the end of the paper. In our lessons we will do lots of things such as me explaining a topic, working through questions to give you lots of practice and a chance to clarify doubts, working through past papers and challenge questions to prepare you for anything the exam throws at you, I would also provide guidance on exam technique, revision techniques and how to deal with stress of it all.
