About Katie
I have been tutoring GCSE Maths for a few months now, which I am thoroughly enjoying! During my time at Sixth Form, I mentored two younger students. I helped them to settle into the new school, as well as supporting them with their homework, which has provided me with vital communication skills with younger people.

I base my lessons around where my students feel they are really struggling, especially as I begin to get to know them. I focus on a topic, which I run through and explain. I look at examples with the student, and run through exam questions. I try to break up my lessons by encourgaing different forms of revision other than just question after question, such as by making posters on the key formulas.
