Le mécanisme de la Dérivation (Préfixe + Radical + Suffixe)
C’est la « formule magique » du vocabulaire français. Elle se résume ainsi :
Le Radical : La base qui donne le sens (ex: PORT = porter).
Le Préfixe : Se place devant pour changer le sens (ex: ex-port \rightarrow vers l'extérieur).
Le Suffixe : Se place derrière pour changer la catégorie grammaticale (ex: port-able \rightarrow devient un adjectif).
