About Eunsung

Learning a new language may seem challenging at first. While there’s no easy way to do it, there are certainly more enjoyable ways. And You’ll be amazed at how quickly you pick up Korean this way!

I have been living abroad since 2013. As a native Korean speaker born and raised in Korea, I have tutored many non-Korean speakers from various backgrounds. Through these experiences, I realized that learning a language doesn’t always have to happen in a formal setting or with a textbook. In fact, I learned English primarily through daily conversations with friends I met around the world.

While attending college in the United States, I gave private lessons to friends who were interested in learning Korean and exploring Korean culture (thanks to BTS!). Most of the time, we simply hung out and chatted together—but only in Korean. It was far from boring and turned out to be one of the fastest ways to learn a language.

Welcome, my friends! My name is 조은성(Cho Eunsung),and I am from Korea
The tutoring program I can offer is for someone :

-who has no clue about Korean.
- who wants to start learning Korean up to an intermediate level
- who wants to build a more solid foundation for Korean
- who is eager to improve their Korean.
- who is preparing for exams.

If they sound a little bit boring to you, we also can focus on:

- conversational skills through conversations with a native speaker.

Based on my experience of tutoring Korean to non-Korean speakers, the first and the last goal of my tutoring service is to make you feel comfortable and confident in Korean. Once you get comfortable with the language, you will naturally be able to use what you have studied. In other words, you will see improvement while building confidence.

You will be amazed at how quickly you pick up the language.

Starting to learn a new language can feel challenging. While there’s no "easy" way, there are definitely more fun and enjoyable ways to learn.

I love traveling and exploring different cultures. I hope that by the end of our tutoring journey, we’ll be able to give each other a tour of our home countries—in Korean!

He taught me the basics of the language very thoroughly and clearly.
