About Anastasiya

CELTA-qualified ESL teacher with 13+ years of international experience teaching adults and teens across Europe. I specialise in Cambridge Exam preparation (KET/PET/FCE/CAE), IELTS training, General English (A2–C1), and communicative, student-centred learning. I am a certified English teacher with a CELTA certificate and over 10 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. I offer lessons tailored to the needs of each student, using a communicative and individualized approach. Whether working one-on-one or with groups, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to gain confidence in their language skills.

I have experience teaching both children and adults at various proficiency levels. My lessons incorporate authentic materials, including books, articles, videos, and real-life conversations, to make learning more effective and engaging. I strongly believe that language learning should be both structured and interactive, helping students develop fluency naturally.

As a native Russian speaker, I personally understand the challenges of learning a second language. I know how intimidating it can be to make mistakes, but I also know that mistakes are a crucial part of the learning process. They help us grow, refine our skills, and gain the confidence to communicate effectively. That’s why I always create a comfortable atmosphere where students feel safe to express themselves without fear of judgment.

Ana is a very talented teacher with such a shining energy that I could feel every time we had lessons even through the screen. I had problems in grammar and Ana explained all so easily to me that I was like: "What? It cannot be that simple!" I mean if there is something you struggle with - feel free to say it aloud and your problem will vanish during a couple of next lessons! I highly recommend this tutor as she is the best among all that I have met (and I have tried a lot).

My name is Denis and I study at school. My mom made me study English as we are from another country and I couldn't talk to my classmates well... So we wanted the tutor to help me with English while speaking on my L1 to describe things I didn't get. Anastasiia speaks my mother-tongue and it helped a lot.
