About Isla

I have been a vocal coach for over 5 years, working with singers of all ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy centers on helping students achieve vocal excellence while staying true to their unique voice. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer, I create personalized lessons to meet each student’s individual needs and goals. For beginners, I focus on essential techniques like breath control, pitch accuracy, and tone production. For more advanced students, I introduce techniques such as resonance, vibrato, and agility to help them improve their vocal flexibility and range. I also emphasize the importance of vocal health, teaching students how to care for their voice and avoid strain. My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for students to experiment with different musical styles and genres. I encourage creativity and self-expression, helping students find their voice and develop their unique sound. Performance training is another key aspect of my teaching, and I work with students to develop their stage presence, connect emotionally with their music, and build the confidence needed to perform in front of an audience. My ultimate goal is to help students build a strong, healthy voice that will serve them for years to come, while also inspiring them to explore their creativity and enjoy the art of singing.

About the lesson

With 5 years of experience teaching singing, I am committed to helping students develop a voice that is both technically strong and emotionally expressive. I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students, focusing on areas such as breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal flexibility, and vocal health.

For beginners, I start with foundational skills such as proper breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, and simple exercises to help develop pitch and tone. For more advanced students, I focus on refining technique, improving vocal agility, and expanding range. I believe that singing is not just about technique, but also about emotional connection to the music. I encourage students to explore their emotional expression through song, helping them develop a deeper connection to the music they sing.

I work across a wide variety of genres, from pop to jazz, musical theater to classical, allowing students to explore and master different styles. I also teach students about performance techniques, stage presence, and how to communicate with their audience. My goal is to help students achieve their vocal goals, whether they are singing for fun, preparing for a performance, or pursuing a career in music.
