About Kevin
Throughout my last 4 years at University, I have developed my writing style and specialise in English Literature, Media Studies and Journalism.
I received an A in English at both GCSE and A Level, and often write articles in my spare time, with hopes of becoming a music Journalist. I have studied at both the University of Nottingham and the University of Sussex, specialising in literary critical writing and journalistic pieces. I have taken part in highly theoretical literature modules, such as Novel Theory, and even more practical media modules such as Urban Multiculture, focusing on theory, music, sociological views on culture and critical writing. I have a great interest in literature recently finishing ‘How A Moth Becomes a Boat’ by Josephine Rowe, which was an extremely engaging series of short stories. Over the past three summers I worked as a Teacher at an exchange school, teaching students English Literature – where I planned and carried out my own lessons, greatly improving my social and intuitive skills, whilst allowing me to inject my own passion for writing and spread it to others – something I offer within my tutoring service. I have a great love of writing specifically opinion-based pieces, stemming from the critical and abstract analysis I have carried out as an English Literature student.
