About Mai

As a student, I struggled with writing at school due to the rigidity of the system. However, I excelled at university after figuring out my own learning style and discovering my passion for research and writing. I understand the difficulties of learning in a standardized system that does not account for different abilities or thinking methods. I find it very rewarding to help students overcome the difficulties of navigating this system and have consistently helped my students improve their grades at school. My goal is to make learning a more enjoyable experience for students of all abilities.

About the lesson

I believe that everyone has different ways of learning and I tailor my lessons to every student’s learning styles and abilities. I start my first lesson with an assessment and goal setting and plan my lessons accordingly. My lessons are interactive to ensure understanding and to provide many opportunities for practice. A lesson with me typically lasts 1 hour.
