About Caitlin

I have built experience through working as a freelance writer for an online motherhood blog, having my poetry published in an online magazine, and tutoring students locally in English. My approach to teaching is grounded in professional dedication, writing and tutoring experience, and a genuine commitment to creating a safe environment. I know what it feels like to struggle, which drives my passion for helping others find their footing. I don't believe in a tense, awkward, traditional classroom vibe. Instead, we will take our time to feel things out together, and I design completely individualized, custom lessons shaped around how your unique mind works. We will cover whatever areas you are struggling with through a structured mix of visual slides to help concepts easily click into place, natural conversation practice so you can build real-world speaking confidence, and practical, everyday talk that focuses on how people casually speak outside of a rigid textbook. Even if our paths don't cross for lessons, I want you to know that I am already proud of you for showing up for yourself.
