About Ava

I am a dedicated Grade 12 student with a strong work ethic and a passion for writing. Recently, I was honoured to receive early acceptance to Western University along with an entry scholarship, awarded for maintaining a 91+ average in my Grade 11 and 12 classes.

Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently excelled in writing, demonstrating a deep understanding of language and a love for crafting thoughtful, well-structured work. This passion has driven me to explore creative, academic, and analytical writing, which I hope to continue studying at university.

Beyond academics, I am an active volunteer in my community. I have contributed to Glamour Gals, a nonprofit organization focused on bringing joy to seniors through meaningful interactions, as well as my school’s Peer Mentoring Club, where I supported younger students academically and socially. Additionally, I have volunteered at school fairs, engaging with children through face painting and other fun activities.

These experiences have strengthened my interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to connect with people of all ages. I bring enthusiasm, understanding, and a knack for making complex ideas easy to grasp to everything I do, especially teaching and mentoring. Whether through tutoring or my future studies, I aim to inspire others to find joy in learning and expressing themselves through writing.
