About Marichia

Hi I am Marichia.
You wont believe me when I tell you but I also made use of a tutor when I was in school ,I felt so stupid that I needed one. Then I realised that everyone is different and we don’t share the same strengths and weaknesses, by needing a tutor doesn’t make you “stupid”. The tutor that I once had really inspired me to also become one because she always made me feel good about attending lessons , asking questions and putting in more effort because she told me that by doing so it will only benefit me, she was right!
A big reason of why I would love to be your tutor is to make you fall in love with the subject and get you excited about it ! To make you comfortable in your learning journey to achieve your goals.

I am a fun , patient and caring person however I will be strict in terms of completing a planned lesson for a session and expect a certain learning environment from the student.

I am currently studying Bcom Law at the North-West university , currently in my second year. I obtained very good marks in all my subjects especially language related subjects like language skills.

Although my courses and lessons will be fun , it will proceed in a professional manner and I will not drift or nor strain from the purpose of the lesson.

About the lesson

My aim as a tutor is to build a strong foundation in all my subjects by restoring any missing building blocks. I will be evaluating the students and create a personalised course to ensure that the student(s) have a good foundation and then working our way up until they are satisfied with their marks or no longer need me.

As a student you can expect fun and meaningful lessons with me. I will be making use of games, interesting study materials and methods
Although my courses are fun they are still academically equipped and wont drift from its purpose.

I also aim to make the learning process fun so that students want to attend sessions wholeheartedly. I am very approachable and very easy to build connections with ,I also aim to have good student / tutor relationships so that students can feel comfortable to ask questions.

I want to help students achieve their goals ,anyone can do it if they put their hearts into it. I am a true believer that when you believe in someone , motivate them , give them the necessary help they will reach great heights!
