About Elizabeth
I have 5 years of experience teaching one to one tuition and 4 years experience teaching in schools. I am a qualified teacher and have a degree in English Literature from Leeds Beckett University, in the UK.
I understand that different approaches to the subject work best for different people and like to spend time getting to know what works for individual students, to ensure they achieve their best.

I tailor my English lessons, as a tutor, to the individual student. I understand it is their time and their needs and let them (along with the guardians) guide me in regards of what they think it is important to focus on within the lessons.
I can work with students in Primary school and high school to help them achieve their goals.
All of the students I have worked with previously have succeeded in their goals they set out when working with me- whether it was confidence in the subject, help with the content or they just needed an extra push to achieve their best.
I recommend 1 hour sessions as this allows us to have focused work and time for feedback and identify any struggle points we can work on or carry into the next session. I am flexible and student focused.
