About Seyi
Hi, I'm Zhané! I'm a Biochemistry student at Imperial College London, and I've loved language for as long as I can remember. Even in the middle of a science degree, I study French alongside my modules and write constantly — words are genuinely my happy place.
I tutor because I believe English is learnable, not a talent you're born with. I remember the moment it clicked for me — when essays stopped feeling like guesswork and started feeling like something I could control — and I love helping students reach that same moment.
I'm patient, organised, and honestly enthusiastic about teaching: there's nothing better than watching someone go from dreading a subject to feeling confident in it. Whatever your starting point, I'll meet you there.

My lessons are hands-on from the first minute. Rather than lecturing, I get you writing, analysing, and discussing — because that's how English actually sticks. I achieved an A* in A-level English with 100% on my coursework, so I know exactly what examiners reward — and I'll show you how to turn mark schemes into simple, repeatable strategies. English isn't magic; it's a set of skills anyone can learn.
I teach KS3, GCSE, and A-level students, and I adapt to you: gentle, step-by-step confidence-building if English feels overwhelming, or sharper challenge if you're chasing top grades.
