About Janna
I'm a current junior studying English Teaching at Utah State University! I'm part of USU's Writing Fellows Program, where I work with a course to help students with specific writing assignments. I'm also a member of Sigma Tau Delta (the International English Honor Society) and a part of the team for Sink Hollow, our undergraduate literary magazine. I'm passionate about literature and writing, and I want to teach so I can help give people access to the power that comes with literacy.

I believe that everyone is a writer, and my approach centers around helping you find your unique writer (and reader!) identity. When tutoring writing, I take a more process-oriented approach, focusing on all the steps that will get you to a great final product! I approach reading similarly, looking at individual skills needed to understand a text. I am flexible, and the exact details of a lesson will differ depending on what your specific needs are.
