About Amy
I have held various roles in the care and education sectors since 2002. These roles have included that of nursery nurse, teaching assistant and support worker. I qualified as a teacher 4 years ago, specialising in adult learning and supporting learners with special educational needs. I have been tutoring online for the past two years and love the flexibility and variety this method of teaching gives me. My current learners range from very young children around the world learning very basic English skills to local native speakers who need support to improve their English skills for work or for study. I do a lot of work on personal development and employability skills with my learners having gained experience in CV writing and teaching interview techniques in recent months.

The two most important things to me as a teacher are that all sessions are relevant to the individual learner and that you have fun. It doesn't matter what age you are or what level you are working at, if you can relate to the content and you are having fun, you are much more likely to absorb the new information and be able to use it in the future.
