About Evelyn
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney, and I have been working as a part-time English teacher for the past three years. I have mostly taught students in Years 1 to 6, and I love seeing how much they can grow when they feel supported and confident. I wanted to become a tutor because I enjoy helping others learn in a way that makes sense to them. I know that school can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming, so my goal is to make learning clear, fun, and something you can feel proud of. Everyone learns differently, and I am here to help you find what works best for you. Looking forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals.

My approach to tutoring is flexible, student-focused, and always encouraging. I believe that every student learns differently, so I try to adjust my teaching style based on their needs and personality. Some students respond really well to structured steps and practice, while others benefit more from creative examples, games, or discussions, especially in English. I like to keep lessons engaging, so I often mix traditional methods with fun, interactive activities to help students stay focused and enjoy learning.
Typically, my lessons run for either one hour or an hour and a half, depending on the student's age and attention span. During this time, I make sure we balance reviewing content, building skills, and checking for understanding through questions and small tasks.
I have worked as a part-time English teacher for the past three years, mainly with primary school students from Year 1 to Year 6. This experience has taught me how to communicate clearly and patiently, especially with younger learners. I really enjoy helping them grow in confidence, whether it’s in reading, writing, or comprehension.
