About Emily
I am originally from Wisconsin and I work as an English teacher and translator. I spent five years in Uruguay where I worked teaching English to students of all ages and levels and also provided translation services for various international clients. I now continue to teach English remotely online. I am also fluent in Spanish and work freelance translating, editing, proofreading and creating subtitles.

My main goal is to keep my students engaged and motivated. I try to keep classes as fun and dynamic as possible and give my students the opportunity to practice speaking as much as possible. I believe the best way to learn a language is to practice and I do my best to mix grammar and vocabulary lessons with fun speaking or reading activities.
