About Pilar

I have been teaching for 6 years in all kind of groups and ages. From 4 year old children to adults who are 60! In academy / home or in schools. Flexible method, I move to localities near mine (Navalafuente), such as Guadalix, Bustarviejo, Cabanillas or Venturada. For others further away, such as Soto, Miraflores or La Cabrera, please ask. There are places in my local academy for groups of adults, adolescents and children. I also give lessons at my address.

About the lesson

My teaching method is adapted to the needs of the student. I love English and the doors it can open, so I find great to learn with songs, articles or tv shows (and fanfics) that are of interest to the student.

Unfortunately, this is not always possible and I also adapt the lessons when deadlines are necessary. Sometimes the classes are for school support and you have to follow a syllabus, or there is an official exam to be presented and we need to structure ourselves with a book that ensures that all the contents that can be entered are covered. In those cases, structuring is the key and I try to make it as easy and as simple as possible.
