About Me I am a teacher who specializes in English and I am dedicated to helping students succeed. Over the years I have worked with a wide range of learners, from elementary through high school, and I enjoy tailoring lessons to meet each student where they are. My Approach as a Tutor
My teaching method is rooted in patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to fit each student’s needs. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, literacy, and comprehension while also making lessons engaging and practical. I use a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities to help students feel confident and independent in their learning.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of prior material, followed by introducing a new concept with clear explanations and examples. We then practice together through exercises, reading passages, or writing prompts, and finish with reflection or short assessments to track progress.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students of all ages and tailor lessons to their individual strengths and challenges. I provide constructive feedback, celebrate progress, and use creative strategies to make learning meaningful.
