About Marina
I am an English as a Foreign Language teacher. I have a degree in English Studies and I have just finished a Master's degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching - English specialty: English as a Foreign Language (EFL)/English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
Furthermore, I taught different groups of children aged 3-12 during the academic year 2019/2020, following an English learning method based on the natural acquisition of language.

I split my lessons between the revision of grammar/vocabulary and speaking, which I consider it as the most important skill which needs to be put into practise since the very first day.
As we live in a globalised world, language is a powerful tool used as a system of communication. Therefore, my lessons will always lay an emphasis on learning for communication purposes. However, they will be flexible and they will be planned according to your interests and needs.
Although I am a qualified EFL teacher, I still consider myself a student who is constantly learning new words and expressions in English. We never stop learning. In this sense, I would like to transmit confidence to my students since I understand how frustrating it is to learn a foreign language, feel nervous when speaking and be regularly misunderstood or asked to repeat yourself.
