About Amélie

Special teacher for over 10 years, I have allowed my students with academic difficulties to access higher education through my play methods based on exchange of interests rather than learning formatted textbooks. I then taught English in Japan for two and a half years in the pre-evening class (cram school), in Japanese. There too, I allowed my students to open to other cultures through my playful approach, and gave some people the opportunity to continue their studies in Europe.

About the lesson

Action-based teaching: - listening to concrete facts (news, interesting stories, cooking recipes, cultural facts) - speaking through dialogues, role playing, etc. - writing via games such as crosswords or scramble words - reading according to the interests and objectives of the student: news, newspaper articles or magazines, text or famous speech
