Teaching English to displaced people became my life goal during my time at Melbourne Uni. You might find that mastering phrasal verbs or adjusting your accent feels difficult, but I am here to help you navigate these hurdles. I have spent 9 years refining my methods, working closely with countless students on interview preparation and vocabulary building. Rapid progress toward IELTS goals starts with the sound of a pen hitting paper during a timed practice. Students often see 1.5 band improvements in 8 weeks when we focus on rigorous writing and speaking drills. My CELTA qualification and BA English degree provide the structural framework for our listening comprehension and exam practice. Results remain my focus as we tackle the specific barriers faced by refugees and asylum seekers in new settings.
