About Clothere

I’m a native English speaker that's had a professional career in finance and social media with two international hotel brands, all the while writing a newspaper column on the side.

With a Degree in Business Administration, and having studied Political Science and Architecture as well, I have a pretty good command of the language -- not just for basic conversation but also for business, negotiations, and online presence. Aside from this, I’m also a Certified TEFL Instructor.

Having travelled extensively, I fully understand how important language is, and how it can open doors and offer additional opportunities to those that speak, read, and write it. As I am also studying French at the moment, I know how learning another language can sometimes be hard, which is why I would be happy to help you face any difficulties and challenges on your journey to speaking English fluently.

I have four kids, ages 16 to 24, and they say that I am patient, friendly, and understanding. I can easily adjust my teaching style to fit my students’ needs, whether they be young or old.

About the lesson

I can help you improve your English for schoolwork, an exam, a job interview, or if you would just like to practice your conversation skills. I would love to talk about history, poetry, current events, hobbies, and whatever else under the sun that interests you. I can even help you proofread and edit documents too. :)

I rely mostly on the Communicative Language Teaching approach, with a focus on grammar and vocabulary, to help my students gain the competence to speak in different social situations, and to learn to exchange information and solve problems by using the English language.

I am competent and comfortable teaching children as well as adults of all ages.
