I have recently finished A-Level English and have received an A* for my essays and coursework throughout the year, I am hoping to begin a degree in English in 2021 and enjoy reading modern and classical literature. My strongest area is poetry but I can tutor on a wide range of English topics.

I like to engage the students in analysis and annotation of a piece, I will listen to their initial ideas and how they are analysing it. Then I will add some ideas of my own and show my analysing process. I often think discussions are the best way to become interested in a piece of literature, so I will try to always include a conversation around the language, form and structure, and challenge the student's opinion to improve their ability to provide evidence and form strong points.
