About Alexa

I am a passionate and dedicated student currently preparing for university, who genuinely enjoys helping others succeed in English.
Having achieved top grades (A*’s) myself, I understand both the challenges you may face and the strategies that truly work. This allows me to tutor with empathy and confidence.

English has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I take pride in explaining ideas in a way that is clear and easy to understand. I am patient and highly organised, ensuring that every lesson has a clear focus and purpose. I believe that students perform best when they feel supported and motivated — and I strive to create that environment in every session.

As a recent student, I have an excellent understanding of the KS2, KS3, and GCSE English curriculum, including how examiners award marks. I teach students how to structure high-quality answers, develop strong arguments, and write with confidence and accuracy. I don’t just help students improve their work — I help them understand why their work improves.

My online lessons are fully personalised and engaging, adapting to each student’s learning style and goals. Whether a student needs to build confidence, improve writing skills, or prepare for important exams, I provide structured guidance, useful feedback, and practical techniques that lead to real progress.
I am committed and genuinely invested in my students’ success.

My aim is not only to help students achieve higher grades, but also to help them develop a lasting confidence in English that will benefit them beyond the classroom. I can also assist young writers who wish to progress in their own writing skills to a professional degree.

I am a dedicated and high-achieving English student offering online English tutoring via Zoom for KS2, KS3, and GCSE students. My lessons are carefully structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, strengthen core skills, or achieve top exam grades.

As a recent student myself, I understand the current curriculum and exam expectations, and I explain complex ideas in a clear, student-friendly way.
