About Alyssa
I started tutoring by chance, while I was living in South Korea. My experience varies from working one on one with students learning English, and teaching classes in private academies or charter schools. My students have been as young as 3 to high school and even adults. Ever since then I have fallen in love with seeing kids' faces light up when they feel confident in what they are learning!

My teaching method is to teach with patience, then allow students to demonstrate their learning. I believe what is extremely important is creating a comfortable environment for students to feel confident enough to take risks. This is what allows them to push their skills and knowledge further.
