About Lucy
I am a primary school teacher. I have been working in Madagascar for the past 5 months teaching the English primary curriculum, previously to that I worked in a special needs high school for 4 years. I have 3 months online teaching experience. I am currently studying a child and education based open degree at the Open University. I have experience teaching phonics, reading and writing skills, grammar and oral English, as well as all primary level subjects.

I strongly believe in using a fun and lively teaching method. Learning through games as well as more traditional methods such as worksheets. I can adapt to different learning styles and make sure I teach using visual, auditory and practical input. I am a very relaxed and very positive person; a smile and a laugh can make all the difference in a teaching environment. I want my students to feel comfortable and at ease during the lesson.
