About Ibtissem
After studying English Literature and Foreign languages in my home country for my Bachelor's degree, I received a scholarship to study my Master's in the USA in Rhetoric and Writing. I then joined the Ph.D. program in Rhetoric Writing, and culture. I enjoyed learning about language, literacy, and writing. I attended many regional and national conferences where I presented on my work on learning and teaching English language and writing. I also taught English writing for 10 years and tutored English language for different level learners. I speak four languages and understand the work it takes to learn a new language and the support you need to excel.

Based on the goal we set up for your learning, I create a plan and timeline to achieve small tasks until we meet your learning goal. I always personalize learning based on previous experience, strengths, and wanted outcomes. It is a priority that the lessons meet your learning style. I work with college learners of all levels, school-aged learners who need extra support or to build communicative competence. I also work with low literacy adults who want to improve their overall literacy.
