About Aurora
I’m a philosophy graduate and student who loves language, storytelling, and exploring ideas. My studies center on close reading, careful reasoning, and clear expression. I bring that thoughtful approach to tutoring, along with a belief that questions and mistakes are part of learning.
Your ideas matter. My goal is to help you understand them, develop them, and express them confidently.
Send me a message about your goals and what you’d like help with. We’ll start there.

Have ideas but struggle to put them into words? Need help understanding what you read? Or want to turn a story idea into something people will love reading?
We’ll work together at your pace, with clear explanations, practical examples, and room to ask questions.
I can help you:
Reading: Understand difficult passages, identify main ideas, build vocabulary, and explore deeper meaning.
English: Make sense of grammar, sentence structure, and class assignments.
Writing: Turn scattered thoughts into organized essays with clear paragraphs and stronger arguments.
Creative writing: Develop characters, dialogue, settings, and plots while finding your own voice.
Bring an assignment, a draft, a book you’re struggling with, or an idea you’re excited about. We’ll break it into manageable steps and practice skills you can use independently.

Aurora helped me as an adult learning to read, and I’m so grateful for her support. Asking for help with reading as an adult can be difficult, and having someone willing to work with you means a great deal. I appreciate the time and care she put into helping me develop such an important skill. I would gladly recommend Aurora to other adults who want help with reading.
